During the One Montgomery Green Gala at Brookside Gardens on June 20, 2024, MDE Secretary Serena McIlwain presented the Sustainability Leadership Awards and remarked, “The businesses recognized today are advancing solutions to some of the top environmental priorities of the Moore Administration: climate change, the health of our waterways, and building a green economy that supports healthier communities.”
The award winners, which include a landscaping company, an electric vehicle equipment manufacturer, a real estate developer, a food processing company, a battery manufacturer, and a truck manufacturer, have all demonstrated persistence and innovation in pursuing ambitious climate and environmental goals.
